DESCRIPTION:Join The Reader's Kitchen live at the Brighton Branch of the Boston Public Library! Afton will read Eric Carle's classic picture book The Very Hungry Caterpillar aloud\, then you'll get to make your very own fruit skewers inspired by the story! You'll get to taste the end result and learn how to make this kid-friendly recipe (and lots more recipes inspired by children's books!) together at home. This program is recommended for kids ages 2-5 and their caregivers. If your child has an allergy to fruit or other food allergies you would like us to be aware of us\, email ahahn@bpl.org ahead of the program. This free program does not require registration\, but supplies are limited. We will do our best to make sure each child has a fruit skewer to enjoy.
